FORMAT   2:
EMDR Intensive
THERAPY

EMDR intensive therapy means that the processing of an issue does not take place in weekly sessions, but within one or more days.

This can be several days (1-8 days) in a row or 3-4 hours at a time per week, spread over 1-3 months.

The duration of intensive EMDR therapy depends on the severity, duration, and length of the symptoms to be processed.

A major advantage of the intensive format is that dissociation and emotional breakdowns occur significantly less often, as the work is done in one go and does not have to be constantly interrupted.

COVERAGE OF COSTS

Billing in my private practice is based on the fee schedule for psychotherapists (GOP).

Please note that I do not bill through statutory health insurance companies.

If you have private health insurance, it is best to inquire beforehand about the conditions and extent to which your insurance company covers the costs of outpatient psychotherapy. After consultation, you can also pay for the therapy yourself. All services are billed according to the German fee schedule for psychotherapists (GOÄ/GOP).

The hourly rate for a session (50 min.) is €134.07.

A 3-hour EMDR intensive (180 min.) costs €482.40.

A 4-hour EMDR intensive (240 min.) costs €643.20.

A 5-hour EMDR intensive (320 min.) costs €804.00.

CANCELLATIONS

Appointments must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance. Failure to do so will result in a private invoice for the cancelled appointment.
